The Field King Professional 190328 No Leak Pump backpack sprayer is as popular and versatile as it is affordable. If you are considering a backpack sprayer for weed killers, non-selective herbicides, bleach, selective herbicides and insecticides the Field King Professional 190328 is worth a look!
The field king professional 190328 functions as a piston or diaphragm backpack sprayer. It features a proprietary no leak pump design that will keep you dry and chemical free, which was important to me. Internal paddles keep liquids powders and solutions mixed, always ready to spray. The pump features Viton seals which are easy to change without any tools. It also includes a comfortable grip and locking trigger to reduce hand fatigue. The adjustable padded straps are secure and comfortable to making the work a little more tolerable.
Most reviewers agree that it is a quality product that is comfortable to wear and easy to use. It is easy to take apart and repair with replacement parts easily available.
I have heard a few complaints about having to pump to maintain pressure but most are happy with the high PSI and affordable price. Switching to a battery powered sprayer is an option as well, but the price will go up!
The biggest complaint that I've heard about this sprayer is that the handle does not fully return to the upright position after it is fully installed. This makes storage more difficult but doesn't affect day to day operation of the backpack sprayer.

I am soccer geek you could say. I tried playing professionally but eventually flopped out because I was too short, too skinny, and too lazy even. That didn’t stop me from still loving the game! When I had kids, I really wanted to get them into loving the game as much as I did. The first thing that came to mind was to building them a soccer field right in my backyard!
I got right to it and brought in the pro-style grass. So smooth I might turn it into a putting green for me if they don’t want to use it. Obviously, I hired professional help for all of the setup and all of those issues. However, when it came time for maintenance I learned the hard way that I had to do it myself. I had an issue with some weeds growing but didn’t pay much attention to it. By the time I did and called someone to come fix it though it was too late. I learned a couple of things that day. Gardeners are not on the call like doctors and you can count on them in an emergency. Reinvesting every season on new grass is better left for professional sports teams or clubs that can afford it. The rest of us have to protect our investment, and we have to at least know how to do it ourselves.
So after this experience, I went out and bought some weed killer. Spent hours almost on my knees spraying it straight from the bottle. Until I really started to question whether it was all worthwhile. Then I found the Field King Professional 190328. Things just became exponentially easier.
The first thing that really stood out to me was the absolutely no leak promise. I hated getting potentially harmful chemicals on me. So this was a big plus.
The 21-inch poly wand really makes things a lot easier. No more bending folding or anything else you needed to do to hit the weeds directly. Stand up straight and comfortably hit the weeds from a distance! Another benefit is that you are not inhaling any harmful fumes from the weed killers or other chemicals. The internal piston pump can deliver up to 150 psi, so you can actually spray from further than 21 inches essentially. Again, great for not putting the 4-gallon backpack fully on your knees and back.
There are four types of nozzles so you can potentially use it for not only killing weeds but many other chemicals that can help your lawn and more. You could actually save money by doing your own house fumigation. This one tool could really save you a lot of money in hiring people to do multiple jobs for you. Of course, I don’t recommend putting 4 gallons of poisonous chemicals on your back without some training. You do get some instructions and the ability do a whole bunch of jobs with just one tool!
I would recommend the Field King Professional 190328 for price and performance! It has been well tested with overwhelmingly positive reviews from all over the web.
I give it 4.5 stars!
Don’t forget this is a product that does not require batteries and can still put forth 150 psi pressure. It can also spray up to 30 feet in the air. Again this is a non electric product and can really step up and “spray” with the best of them. It is 12 pounds in weight. Plus the 4 gallons of chemicals that you will be carrying directly on your back. This makes the straps it comes with really come into place. They really feel like you are carrying a normal backpack. In my eyes, it is not extremely wide so you can really walk around without having to look like a ghostbuster.
Overall like I said it is a very decent tool. It’s price to performance ratio is better than decent it is actually great! The Field King Professional 190328 No Leak Pump Backpack Sprayer costs around $70. It has a 4 gallon tank which is basically around the same capacity others have. It doesn’t need charging, and you won’t have electrical issues. So basically you are paying half the price for a product that can perform as well as the products you would need to pay top dollar for. If you were wondering yes, I now have a backyard soccer field free of weeds. As well as a garage that has no weeds growing in it! So far I have not had to replace anything, hopefully it stays that way.
